||Lymm truck stop has a barbers shop, so Toddington is not the only one to have this facility – assuming Lymm is defined as an MSA, of course, which does not seem to be 100% clear cut!25/01/2006 19:22:54
Havent been for a while, but it has always seemed nice and clean, if a bit cramped. 31/07/2006 22:41:26
verry nice 10/10/2006 19:42:44
We made a special visit to this service station on a recent Lake District holiday. We think it should be included as a tourist attraction in Lakeland publicity info. The farm shop is par excellence!05/01/2007 17:04:07
I love this service area having worked here from 1988 until 2007. The cameraderie amongst the colleagues is great, one big happy family! There will always be a place in my heart for LFE.06/02/2007 19:56:36
The car parking (on the northbound side at least) is almost impossible. Queues to get in, queues to get out. 25/09/2007 15:41:14
An overpriced rip off! even the cash machines have been replaced by those that charge for withdrawels (£1.85) 18/11/2007 19:27:04
Stinks; both literally and figuratively. HGV parking is awful, reeks of stale piss. 20/10/2008 20:25:44
Looked a bit dismal from the outside, needs to be modernised urgently, service was very good, was served by a sweet old lady (Pauline) would advise all M6 truckers to stop here. 24/01/2009 07:33:40
bad food, bad staff, dirty toilets, give it a wide berth. 02/12/2009 17:05:34
Beyond doubt, this has to be the worst equipped, untidiest, dirtiest and ill mannered MSA on the whole of the M6.The HGV fuelling areas have to be seen to be believed! No protective gloves, paper towels. The whole forecourt for HGVs is a shambles!!! 07/01/2011 23:43:16
